Interests
Dao Culture: I enjoy studying Chinese classical culture, particularly Dao culture.
By "Dao culture," it does not mean just Daoism, but the enduring thread of Chinese classical philosophy since the pre-Qin era, encompassing Confucianism, Daoism, and more.
I believe that Chinese classical philosophy can integrate with modern science to produce astonishing results. If you're interested, I recommend the following books:
- The Great Learning (Daxue)
- The Doctrine of the Mean (Zhongyong)
- Tao Te Ching (Daodejing)
- The Analects (Lunyu)
Handicrafts:
Outside of research, I enjoy creating handmade items, including but not limited to traditional Chinese thread-bound books, wooden models, and robotic projects with electronic controls.
